Hill walking 2:00:00 [1] 8.2 km (14:38 / km) +600m 10:43 / km

King's Seat from Dollar Glen, with B&E. Slow going for the first hour, B not having energy. About halfway up she took E & turned back, and I frogmarched / jogged to the summit & back. Nice to get high - and to work hard to get there - but I could have done without the big icky blister. Mental note, don't try hill running in boots.

So I was wrong about getting over my cold... either a relapse or another virus struck on Monday and I was down for another week!

FVO Club champs, old man's course (Blue). Not much energy from these old legs after the best part of three weeks off. Steady but slow through the first 5, promptly got lost in the circle at the first control in the intricate stuff (#6) and, rather than concentrate, got flustered for #7 and made a right a*se of it. 3.5 minutes gone in two short controls, dur. OK after that, although both my shoe laces came undone en route to #11, could have done without that.

Nice to go back to South Achray and it was a very good course planned by James T.
