Hadn't planned to go out, as my back was really bad this morning, but the painkillers were working and everyone else was having so much fun that I couldn't resist. Had an OK run, just no pace. Was totally fine until the misplaced control in the Laighills; missed that and was so flustered that I stuffed up the next one, too. Got my act together after that, but didn't get the legs moving any faster, alas! More pills after finishing, hope I'll not regret all that tarmac. TRIMP 127.8.

Note - after the dodgy control and the one after have been removed from the results, it seems that I did OK apart from #18 when I clearly took the wrong route out of the school and dumped a whole minute without realising it!

Note again - entering the WOLF SOL. £15, fackin' 'ell!!! Do I get a free gold-plated dibber?!
