Orienteering 44:30 [3] 4.9 km (9:05 / km) +175m 7:42 / km
(sick)

WP Blue - Middle. I've been sick since last Mon. and was really hesitant to do any kind of running, but the weather was just too nice, so after all, I decided to just go out and jog the course. I stuck to the plan and enjoyed the woods, walked all the uphills and tried to memorize the map for as much as I could. Too bad i messed up #2, otherwise I would've even had a decent time after all. I found the course to be interesting, though #6 was questionable to say the least, and really enjoyed woods around #8 and #9. I am hoping to get rid of whatever the virus I have before Boston, so that I could at least do more of actual running.

Orienteering 54:00 [3] 7.0 km (7:43 / km)

I talked goats into going to Ansonia park where Greg is setting courses in May. We ran the red course while Greg was out putting the streamers for us. This is my second most favored place after Surbrige to orienteer, I really like this place. The course has really challenging legs with many possible macro and micro route choices. I caught up to Greg in a few places and we finished the last four controls together. Butt was hurting pretty much all the time, so I wasn't really pushing it and just enjoyed the navigational part.
