Running 22:00 [3]
shoes: Asics

At home, went for a jog round memorial park with dan and matt. Dan's first time running (apart from on a treadmill) for ages, and matt has a cross country race tomorrow. I was feeling pretty good:) Not getting dizzy going up stairs, and can even run up them now! So all's going well, apart from exams, but that's another story for another day.

Strength and conditioning 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Asics

Circuits. Lots of jumping. Throwing medicine balls (hurt my hand landing into a press up though, ouch). Then press up things and supermans. There was probably a lot more stuff than this, but i can't remember!

Running 45:00 [3]
shoes: Asics

Jog to meadows, did warm up and strides with everyone, then instead of doing intervals went on a jog with james, andrew, becky and oleg. I was feeling ok at the beginning, i might even go as far as saying spritely, but started struggling for the 10mins or so.

Cycling 30:00 [2]

Went for a gentle cycle about town:) Was a nice break from revision. Slept lots last night (not used to doing exercise! crazy stuff), still quite tired today but generally feeling ok.

Running 32:00 [3]
shoes: Asics

Jog to Blackford, up+over, then round the bottom. Taking it really easy on doctors' (and many other peoples'!) orders. Wasn't feeling amazing, but not too bad!:) It was good to get out.

Strength and conditioning 1:00:00 [3]

Cycled to the gym (very slowly because of the rivers in the road and my lack of brakes) for circuits. I didn't take anything too hard, just doing it for an excuse to get out of the flat and stop revising really! It's nice to see people too, as i'm feeling pretty anti social at the moment. Doctor's tomorrow, yippee. Thanks for the helpful comments.
(Ooh and another 11 hours sleep, mmm)

Running intervals 30:00 [3]

Sorry Jenny, I didn't see your post until I'd done these! I did some intervals (first time in 5 weeks i think!) 4x1.2km. When I was running i was feeling ok ish, just tired and not able to run quickly, but when i finished each one i suddenly got dizzy and it was horrible, so i tried just slowng down gently to a stop whih was kinda helpful! I was running with Kirsten who had a dodgy stomach.

Orienteering 1:45:00 [3]

W21E at Errochty, STAG National Event. I wasn't sure whether to run, but thought I may as well give it a go. I started off ok for the first couple of controls, then i started to get the light headed and dizziness so i took it easy for a bit. This continued for the rest of the course with a few points feeling fine, but whenever i tried to get moving i felt rubbish again. Surprisingly i still really enjoyed the course nd it was a lovely forest:) On a side note i think a trip to the doctor's is in order as this exhaustedness is really getting me down.

Orienteering 1:10:00 [3]

EUOC weekend away, training day at Baluain planned by Becky. A line course took us up the hill to the start of anoter course. I did the line course ut was feeling exhausted, thankfully i had some malt loaf in my pocket which i munched on to get me up the last hill. My head was going funny and felt disorientated and light headed. I missed out the loop at the top and after hanging about a bit i did the downhill course back to the buses, which i managed to jog most of although i was feeling fairly rubbish.

Running long 1:25:00 [3]
shoes: Walsh

Run in the Pentlands with Francis, Aswan and Simon. Beautiful day, was struggling to get out of bed in the morning feeling a little dodgy after last night, but glad i did! Did my usual route over ridge to end of capelaw (?) then back round, over saddle, down to Boghall and back along above the woods. After Boghall i tripped on a rock and went flying, bashed my knee which is a bit swollen and quite hot and jarred my hip a bit, but i'll live!

Running 40:00 [3]
shoes: Walsh

Jog to meeting place in the morning. Then on the way back we got on the wrong bus, so i jumped off somewhere i thought wasn't too far from my flat, but it turned out i was miles away, happened to jog past ross's flat and he saw me so i went in, said hello and had a peek at a map! I'm such a muppet. So i ended up running for far longer than i thought! I was also looking fairly stupid in my muddy walshes, lycra, tyrving jacket and craft headband...i was running against the tide of people heading to the hearts football match.

Cycling intervals 30:00 [4]

10*120/60 on the bikes in the gym. Chest and throat don't seem to be quite better so thought training in the warmth would be a good idea. I was feeling ok ish. I've been feeling sleepy for a week now even though i'm getting loads of sleep (9 or 10 hours a night) which is bizarre. Hopefully i'll be less sleepy soon!

Cycling warm up/down 30:00 [3]

Cycle to gym and back. (I ended up doing a lot more than 30mins because I then cycled to Braids, ran around at Braids cheering people on, then cycled back to the flat again.)

Cycling 1:30:00 [3]

Cycling to Costorphine and back. Went via George square on the way and there's horrible hill which i walked up wih James Lyne so the way back was lots quicker thankfully! Very cold...

Orienteering 1:20:00 [3]
shoes: Walsh

Night-o at costorphine planned by scotia. Hd a micro section in the middle. I was a complete muppet. I'd love to blame it on my lack of torch (jsut borrowig a petzl), but my orienteering seemed to have gone out the window too. Towards the end of the long leg (i'd just messed up trying to get through a patch of brambles and gorse) i was by myself, no torches anywhere and got really scared and was getting hysterical so i started to head out to the road to jsut go back to the start but i met roz (with a bright light) so we ran the rest of it together. Apart from losing about half an hour on one of the controls we did ok!!
For my first day back of rnning after being ill it ended up being too long.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [2]
shoes: Innov8

Part of tinto twin day event course. Did the first 7 controls with dad (it was uphill so he was walking most of it anyway), then cut off 19 to the end. Jogged bits of it, feeling ok.

Orienteering 45:00 [2]

Went for a jog/walk for part of my tinto twin night event course. It was good fun:)
I went and got conjunctivitis, so my eye wasn't working all the well. Also gave me a headache.
