I caught the end of the Cwlth Games marathon. Geeze. The Scottish guy reminded me of Andy & Ondrej's fall in to the garden on Ondrej's farewell beer run.

Running 3:11:00 [3] 30.0 km (6:22 / km)

Cracking run from Pymble to Balmoral down the valley. After a god early start of 6:45 we slowly found a rhythm, and ran down the western side of the valley. Really enjoyed the rough bits to the Nosh start, narrowly avoiding having to watch Bart cut his own arm off after becoming wedged between 2 casuarina trees on an off track adventure. Normal programming resumed as we ran the Nosh course, and hustled to Balmoral so I could make it to rugby. Felt alot better than last week.

Beer stairs with Bart. Disrupted by a work phone call after the first set, and then a call from Annika. Stopped for the work call, but spoke to Annika on a couple of recovery jogs She'd been asked to play for the Sydney Uni Rugby 15's team and was after my thoughts. She ended up playing the next day and established i) her position on the wing underscored that she sure ain't like me physiologically, ii) seemed happy enough to tackle large! islander girls and iii) Glebe is a cracking place for post footy lunch & gelato.

Orienteering 50:00 [3]

Finally found some time to sneak out for a quick set of wharfies. 5 * ~2min on 90 sec; Started very conservatively but seemed to find some legs and went with it. Still feeling a bit flat in general.

2:04, 1:59, 1:54,1:52, 1:47.
