Orienteering race 1:25:21 [2]

BAOC Mynydd P resilient hills. Tough wood to start within then open fell. Error at last control in the wood. Had to divert to get to a stile to cross a barbed wire fence! Went too far contouring from 6 to 7. 11 was a case of up or around, but went passed the control really tucked away in a tiny re entrant. Despite these errors really enjoyed the fells.

Orienteering race 41:48 [3]

Middle distance urban race at Antwerp. Great area, loads of different levels, excellent planning. Went out of the Start the wrong way and ended up at 4! Eventually did 1 to 4, but another huge error going to 5.Miscounted the left turns I needed and ended up unexpectedly on the edge of a basketball corut. Worked out where I was and made a different, longer but easier route to 5. After that we headed out to the river side. Here every control was at a different level! At 11 I was too low, at 13 too high and 17 underneath the building. Despite finishing 5th again, and overall for the weekend I really enjoyed the challenge of this course.On Monday morning I walked around the course and still made a similar error coming out of 5!
