Long distance training with Söders.

This wasn't actually the plan until the evening before when Elmin expressed an interest. Then we checked it out and realised that it was from the dog training meadow near where we live - always good to have old maps with courses from there! So I got down on the lounge floor and did my best to recover my body from the hill session and keep the ankle working properly.

As it happened Elmin woke up the next morning with a cold so I wandered off to meet the others on my own!

A nice and chilled session as always but when the younger lads took a short cut the pace increased among those of us that were left. A while after that I fell over - not good! So decided to put my map away and just follow Göran instead - he's much more likely to find the correct features than me anyway!

Very tired by the end, tried to persuade the others to skip the last few controls but no-one was interested in doing that. Obviously I didn't want to be the only snowflake. Knee/ankle ok.

With Robin AND Nick - Team Monday lives again! Unfortunately I don't think Nick will grace us with his presence on a regular basis, he thought it would be a nice and chilled session that would help him recover from his cold.

And chilled it was, nice and social. I was a little tired but apart from that nothing else significant to report from a physical perspective i.e. both knee and ankle coped ok.
