Strength Training (indoor) 24:30 [0]

Similarly to the problems other members of the household have been having with the various cold viruses doing the rounds the last month or so I am also better/worse/better/worse it seems. Fortunately never bad enough to keep me in bed but I probably should have taken a couple of days off work earlier this week. Certainly not bad enough to stop me from doing some rehab work.

Dynamic Stretching 4:00 [0]

Now that the stitches are out I need to get back into this, certainly lost some range of movement again after 3 weeks of not really bending my leg that much.

One problem is I have no idea how much time the stitches on the inside of the knee will take to dissolve. I did ask at the surgery but there was no note regarding this on my file. I suppose it was good that I was at least informed of their existence!

I just took it easy, didn't go too fast and was careful not to force it too much. I'll ring the hospital up on Monday, see if I can't get a good opinion. They do sometimes use stitches that take months to dissolve for knee surgery so I read on the internet, can't understand why they would have for my case but would be nice to know for sure.

Short trail route.

3 weeks after the op so went down to the GP surgery to get my stitches taken out. It's healed quite well thankfully. Went for a short run to celebrate, enjoyed myself but wasn't moving very well.

Unlike last week the scales made more sense today - more fat less muscle as expected after 3 weeks off. Felt much easier than my avg pulse suggests, again as expected. Left-side the biggest problem but all of this will quickly sort itself out once I've got myself back into good routines again.
