Much better today. It's a bit weird because it wasn't only tiredness yesterday, also tighter left glute and more painful right ankle. Sure I don't help those things much by not regularly stretching etc but it's interesting that a good night's sleep helps to an extent too.

Hugo has been coughing through the night the last few days, keeping everyone awake. I don't help the situation by being addicted to TV series on both Netflix and Viaplay, probably would be better to get to bed earlier in such situations.

Managed to force myself out of the door regardless of the tiredness. Coasted around the first part of the reflexbana, jogged a little then walked the rest of the way back home. Aim to get a good night's sleep tonight then do more tomorrow.

Note

500/1000 days.

At the half-way point and things mostly seem positive just now :)

Work/play balance is good and nothing on the horizon that will threaten it, on the contrary it seems like work can be flexible for the foreseeable future.

The knee keeps improving at the same slow and steady rate, can't see any reason why I won't be able to recover fully. I would have taken being forced into swapping out 1 or 2 sessions a week for biking or rowing but looking at the last few weeks it doesn't seem like that will be necessary.

I'm going to go orienteering next week for the first time since the accident - a little scary actuallly. I'm going to make a real effort to arrive at the start line full of energy and then just take it easy, try and enjoy it without taking much risk.

With Christian. Felt good tonight, a massive 2mins off overall and 1:15 off my post-accident best for the original section (now 48:30).
