Running warm up/down (road) 5:05 [1] 0.9 km (5:39 / km)

Orienteering (forest) 1:44:55 [3] 10.5 km (10:00 / km)
ahr:148 max:163

Multi-Day Training Day 36, hilly orienteering, easy-steady.

Same as 3rd March, or maybe even a little more hilly. Running felt more natural than of late thanks to the stretching and massage but the left hip-flexor was still complaining when ascending. I have to take a couple of days off now anyway so I decided to finish the session. A little sore now.

Comparing with a couple of months ago the pace is almost identical but a much lower average heart rate so I guess that's positive.

Static Stretching & Massage (static) 8:15 [0]

A token gesture but I wanted to do something, tired.

Running warm up/down (xc) 14:20 [2] 2.2 km (6:31 / km)
ahr:142 max:153

Running hills (xc/terrain) 25:55 [3] 1.6 km (16:12 / km) +390m 7:18 / km
ahr:151 max:163

Multi-Day Training Day 34, steep hill, steady.

Felt good today, much better rep times than the previous effort on this hill. Shame my left hip-flexor started playing up - a weird feeling on rep 11, normal again on 12 and then verging on pain on 13 so called it a day and walked gently back home.

Static Stretching & Massage (static) 12:00 [0]

Got to get this left-hand side sorted. Start with the usual idea of what might be happening - muscles too tight, too short, not balanced coupled with a weak core.
