Running (road/xc) 38:55 [3] 8.1 km (4:48 / km)

Started off fast, feeling good but after 15 mins started to feel sluggish and it got worse from there. Should have guessed it wouldn't go that well as after a few weeks of Autumn the temperature is back up again.

Running warm up/down (xc) 21:00 [2]

Had a few minutes rest then jogged back home.

Running warm up/down (xc) 6:50 [2]

Running hills (xc/terrain) 37:45 [3] 3.2 km (11:48 / km) +600m 6:05 / km

I'm not going to use the terrain hill on the near side of the lake anymore as over time I seem to have dislodged most of the moss that was keeping me from falling down the crag. So I ran straight to the other side today and did 20 reps on the bigger, more technical of the two hills I've been using there.

Summer Series Event No. 9 Langvik (17/49)

Final Summer Series event before the Autumn season starts, good run. 1 significant error, some other messing around. Physically fine after a few days off but a little jaded from not getting enough sleep recently. Lovely bbq on the beach beforehand, lovely bit of forest and some lovely sunny weather throughout.

7 of the 8 Summer Series events I attended were uploaded to Winsplits and over those 7 events I had 10 significant errors out of a total of 122 legs. So that equals 8.2% lost in the woods. 4/7 events I had none or only 1 significant error.

I'm still thinking I should increase fitness first before worrying about changing the way I'm navigating.
