Drove out to Ingaro with the family and pre-bbq/swim re-ran most of the Summer Series event course from last year. Took it easy and made slow progress, felt tired in the sun again.

Hydrated well this morning and planned to do an hour and a half of terrain running and hills. I can say that I got out into the forest, got some exercise and didn't seriously injure myself, apart from that it was awful.

Went to Alby with the kids and Grandparents for some swimming and stuff, it would have been rude not to run up the ski slope 10 times... except I only did 7 reps. No energy problems today, just lazy.

Running hills (terrain) 19:35 [3] 1.8 km (10:53 / km) +350m 5:31 / km

Usual terrain hills, usual 10 reps. 5 seconds quicker than last time on 29th May but felt like I didn't have to put as much effort in today.

Saying that I was ruined afterwards and couldn't contemplate doing the usual 2nd set around the other side of the lake. Walked home eating blueberries instead.

I think the energy problem is to do with the really hot weather, looking back over my training log the months of June/July regularly seem to have comments related to being unusually tired. Have to try to drink more water.
