Running warm up/down (Road/XC) 19:30 [1]
shoes: adidas swoop 2 - 3rd pair

12:15 WU
07:15 WD (with Nick)

Orienteering race (Urban/Parkland) 17:45 [3] ** 2.8 km (6:20 / km)
shoes: adidas swoop 2 - 3rd pair

H21E Swedish Sprint Champs E final. Felt pretty awful before I started, still full from breakfast (even though I ate it a 6am) and so tired. Nick watched me start and said I jogged off as if it was an ultra-long.

Like yesterday felt ok once I was running but full intensity just wasn't available. One of the most simple urban sprints I have ever done for sure. Near perfect navigation.

Didn't come anywhere near last... which was nice.

Running warm up/down (Road/XC) 11:00 [1]
shoes: adidas swoop 2 - 3rd pair

Orienteering race (Scrub/Urban/Parkland) 19:00 [4] *** 3.2 km (5:56 / km)
shoes: adidas swoop 2 - 3rd pair

H21E Swedish Sprint Champs Qualifier. Quite tired before I started but felt like I was running ok at full race intensity (apart from going uphill which was a real struggle) - first time doing so for over 6 weeks.

Made three significant mistakes and the worst one near the end (30secs) really pissed me off as it lost me several places.

Almost came last, E final for me then.

Running warm up/down (XC) 5:30 [1]
shoes: adidas swoop 2 - 3rd pair

Orienteering race (Forest/Moorland) 1:42:00 [2] *** 12.3 km (8:18 / km)
shoes: adidas swoop 2 - 3rd pair

H21E2 Swedish Night Champs. Didn't bother trying to borrow a big lamp so did this with my 4.5W Petzl. Not a problem in terms of navigating, it was quite easy and perfect conditions with it. However as I got tired not quite being able to see the various lumps and holes in the terrain became annoying.

Didn't try and run too quickly, not wanting to tire myself out as I've not done an awful lot recently and didn't want to make any big mistakes. Made several small ones however.

Came last, just over 30mins behind the winner.

Running (Road/XC) 52:45 [3] 10.7 km (4:56 / km)
shoes: nike air tri-d kutu

So after another crash (this time not running or ice related) I was limping for a couple of days and today no more pain when I walk so I had to get out and do a session. Felt it once or twice in the first 20mins and didn't notice it after that so officially back in the game!

First couple of splits RHFW with the usual pack minus Winter jacket and shoes this time so pretty light basically.

1) 25:25 (5.25km)
2) 27:20 (5.45km)

Running (Road/XC) 15:50 [1] 2.5 km (6:20 / km)
shoes: nike air tri-d kutu

Met Elisabeth, loaded her stuff into my pack and we both set off back into Arsta forest to find a nice hill.

1) 7:30 (1.1km) - to hill
2) 8:20 (1.4km) - from hill

Running hills (Road/XC) 20:30 [2] +350m
shoes: nike air tri-d kutu

Ups...

1-2) 2:10
3) 2:15
4-7) 2:05
8) 2:00
9) 1:55
10) 1:40

Running hills (Road/XC) 19:10 [1]
shoes: nike air tri-d kutu

Downs...

1) 1:55
2) 1:50
3-9) 1:55
10) 2:00

Running (Road) 34:15 [1] 5.6 km (6:07 / km)
shoes: nike air tri-d kutu

Then we both jogged the last split of my usual RHFW. Proper tired legs.
