With a more OMM-specific 4kg pack. Was supposed to be doing my last really long runs today & tommorow (my house to Elisabeth's and back) as a kind of dress-rehearsal before the OMM. Felt awful. Didn't sleep very well, was aching from my runs on Wed/Fri and had indigestion from a very recent breakfast. So stopped running and...

Usual Nacka half marathon route with usual 7.3kg pack. My unplanned 'taper' over the last 6 weeks seems to have worked pretty well. Went out significantly faster than my previous effort exactly four weeks ago and wondered if I could keep the pace up until the end. Well, I would have done if it hadn't got dark - had to really concentrate not to wreck an ankle in the rooty/rocky section at the end of the 3rd main split (4) and at the beginning of the last main split (1) and this resulted in a big speed reduction. Changed the route slightly near the end of the latter split to avoid the final rooty/rocky bits of the run - a bit annoying because even with the compulsory go slow I would have smashed my best time...
