Orienteering race (Forest) 34:10 [4] ***** 5.6 km (6:06 / km)
spiked:10/13c shoes: adidas swoop 2 - 2nd pair

Enebyberg. 1/25. Er... that's how you f-ing orienteer. From now on you always orienteer like that. If only there were usually that many paths in forests out here in Sweden. Just three small errors... Very small miss on 2 (15secs), drifted away from the path I wanted on 5 but the mistake was not going str8 once I realised and going back for the path instead, resulting in a double banana (30secs) and went over a hill and down some crags I didn't need to on route to 11 (30secs).

Felt physically amazing... just like I should after loads of rest the last month or so. Somehow keeping the weight off too but still could be better - I'm not going to be challenging Paul C to a fall down the drain competition just yet. Both lower back and glute problems a distant memory now and achilles was perfect today but the latest problem was giving me some slight grief but only downhill when applying the brakes. Feels a bit worse now than it did b4 running though oops. If you want to know why if you trip over in the forest you shouldn't land on a small tree stump check this out...

Core Stability (Floor/Standing) 31:30 [1]

Same as Friday except did 25 15 15 10 press ups this time and made a point of holding the core exercises for the full 4 seconds each rep. Thought about not doing this workout many times before and also thought about quitting many times during. Motivation as always a big problem for this sort of exercise... annoying as it is sooooo important for running economy.
