Orienteering race (Forest) 50:34 [4] *** 8.4 km (6:01 / km)
spiked:15/18c

Sledderlo. Bit of a Sarum area in places, one nice area of detail blown-up micro-o style but waste of time cos the course didn't really use it. Ran to and punched 12 on the way to 9 wasting 1-2mins and ruining a clean run. Also ignored a road/path route to 16 even knowing the state of the forest and lost about the same again. Was running really well today, best that I can remember.

Orienteering race (Forest) 55:49 [4] **** 8.3 km (6:43 / km)
spiked:18/26c

De witte bergen. Good contour detail today - too many tracks make it a bit easy and bit brambly in places. Good course. Got to start a bit late and lost it on number 1 and messed up 15 as well. The rest just 10-15 seconders but 3:45 estimated loss in total so not a brilliant start technically. Felt physically quite good.

Orienteering race (Forest) 54:09 [4] *** 7.9 km (6:51 / km)
spiked:22/25c

Ringwood Forest North-West. Chose a good route today and for once it was easy to get the lot. Ran as fast as poss but got neither bonuses so came nowhere. Not sure what they were up to with control 146.

KingTim - the distance I've logged for this is the str8-line distance for the route I took. Distance ran is much too complicated for me - sorry.

Running (XC) 53:47 [2] 9.9 km (5:26 / km) +145m 5:04 / km

Canford Heath. Proper easy. Had to resist the urge to speed up every now and then - got plenty of time for running fast over the next few days.

Merry Xmas!

Running long (Road/XC) 1:34:00 [3] 19.2 km (4:54 / km)

Canford Heath - Broadstone - Merley - Canford Heath. Went out on a proper run for once. Easy for the first 30 mins or so. Again, felt really good.

Ulwell, Isle of Purbeck. Wanted to keep up the momentum from the last few weeks in terms of climb so drove around the harbour to a steep hill I know. 5*0.77km & 100m...

Running (XC) 31:28 [4] 7.0 km (4:30 / km) +90m 4:13 / km

Canford Heath. First 3 spilts of my 10km route and then str8 back from there - str8 after driving back from Ulwell. Started off steady and gradually built it up. Felt really good - much better than Saturday.
