Feeling a little untrained, no surprise. Had an ok run technically with a bad patch 8-12, none of which was 100% my fault of course.

Fell over and banged my left knee on the short leg to 8, then missed it slightly.

I couldn't read the detail very well to 10 because my map was damaged, ended up ascending a hill in the wrong place and missed by around a minute.

Before doing 11 I turned my map around in the bag to try and make it easier to read but it didn't help much because some mud had managed to get through the holes - just couldn't see which route was best.

I think 12 was in the wrong place - I checked the marsh immediately to the East and found it.

So should have been more like 46-7mins for this course but enjoyed myself anyway, great to be out in the forest again.

Quite tired physically and couldn't really take this seriously. Quite a few mistakes, not paying much attention to what I was doing.

Happy with how my body has coped with 5 days running in a row.

I could have done with a rest but it would have been rude not to do this seeing as it was that close to where I live.

Some good ideas, some bad ones and got stuck in a lot of green, my lamp just isn't good enough to give me an idea of how dense the forest is. It probably would have helped if I actually had a night-o strategy rather than just trying to run as if it were daytime.

A good run, started to get a bit tired in the second half and a few small mistakes started to creep in. Still, happy with a couple of fairly solid technical performances this weekend.

Terrible night's sleep but managed to attack the course throughout (runnable enough and short enough!). No significant mistakes, just a little hesistant in places.

All our leg 5 runners came in within 2mins of each other so Elisabeth had a fair amount of pressure going off first and having the other 3 including me going past her in the early stages of the course. She had a good run technically however and was only 3mins behind me at the finish, job done.
