Not done a 2 hour session for a while so did 8 lengths of my hills route on Canford Heath. Steady pace all the way - really tired by the end. Happy.

Running long (Road) 1:39:35 [3] 23.0 km (4:20 / km)

Same route as Xmas Eve but didn't injure myself this time and hence managed to actually run the whole thing. Accidentally simulated altitude training i.e. not limiting the available oxygen by being a large distance above sea level but by breathing in the CO enriched rush hour air instead. Mostly steady but had to put a bit more effort in over the last few km to maintain the same pace which was not much over 90mins for the half - felt quite comfortable throughout. I am almost tempted to do a 'quick' half sometime to see what sort of time I could manage but the way my body feels after that much pavement abuse tells me to not bother... ever.

Running (Road/XC/Mud) 1:31:00 [3] 16.5 km (5:31 / km)
shoes: nike air tri-d kutu

Team Monday from Bath with Marks, Matts and Keith. Felt pretty rubbish to start with but got better once thru the first hour. Nice muddy run with some good hills only spoiled by Matt F whinging about his head torch batteries running out - well you know what to do then eh? Buy some f-ing new ones!
