Just over half of my long trail route, proper easy. Did take a couple of paracetamol for a slight headache but at 08:00 and no anti-inflammatory tablet - basically another test without medicine - how does my ankle cope with trail running? It went ok in terms of that.
I had some problems with shin-splint type numbness on both legs, mostly just to begin with. I guess not unusual bearing in mind I am not used to trail running and am a bit too heavy.
LH-side not good but again, mostly just to begin with. Some hamstring pain since the hills on Tuesday and today it was pretty awkward, left leg just flapping around for the first 20 minutes or so.
By far the worst thing was some indigestion after making the same mistake I've made countless times before of eating the wrong type of lunch, leftover curry this time. It actually got so bad that I gave up and power-walked home but I'm actually going to take that as a positive - the fact that it wasn't my right ankle or left leg that stopped me from finishing the session!
