Skate Skiing 2:30:00 [3]

Skiing at Frisco Nordic center with K, Sandra, Marc and Christoph. Did a few loops with K and eventually met up with Sandra for a final 5k after she switched to skate.

Dead tired, sore legs and back from a rough (but super fun!) day of alpine yesterday! Really fun trails at frisco, variable terrain and lots of transitions. And of course gorgeous scenery! We'll hopefully be back soon.

Alpine skiing 3:00:00 [3]

Arapahoe Basin! yehaaa!
fun fun playing on the slopes with no ice for miles... tough on the body, bumps, trees, groomers and powder - love it!!

Running 27:58 [3] 4.4 km (6:21 / km) +75m 5:51 / km

Sandra convinced me to go run with her after skiing this afternoon. Bad idea. I had that LFMAO shufflin' song playing in my head the whole time!
walked two hills, which felt waaaay better than running since we could stretch the legs.
6 PM

Core strength 25:00 [3]

Core and stretching mostly led by Sandra. Learned some new exercises. Need to get stronger legs!!
So much more enjoyable to do these things with your best friend. I need a Sandra back in CO. ;-)

Running 1:03:00 [3] 10.4 km (6:03 / km) +182m 5:34 / km

Tough footing (icy and potholed snow and squishy mud) for the first half. So frustrating, in fact, that I decided to take the road around back to the car rather than go back the way I came.

Felt like I was flying on the road back, but I think it had a lot to do with the fact that it was really all downhill, and dark.

Running 50:14 [3] 7.9 km (6:22 / km) +129m 5:53 / km

Run with Loki in Boulder Valley Ranch. Usual loop. Snowy footing, or mushy mud - glad I wore my studded Orocs. I love those shoes... I feel so fast when I wear them!
Also love how light it is in the evenings now! And I also love not hearing coyotes in the dark.

Lots of love - oh, happy valentines day.
