Whew, tough on tired legs. HR monitor fail in the last mile (or my heart is getting so powerful it only needs ~90bpm).

Positively warm out. 100% humidity ~60F = whew! Felt fine though.

Ate a lot on the trail ... 3x gels and 1x bar. Plus PB 1/2 before.
First 4-lap Crum, so ... a PR! :) Good easy start and flat splits. Last 2 laps only 0.1 seconds different! Whoa.

Another cold day and I felt like NOT going outside. Need to get over that.

Wore HR strap for first time in a while, no paste, and it failed per usual. Grrr. But nice low HR for the 1 hour of 8-hour pace and climb.

Only real bonus of the treadmill is listening to a podcast.

Cold out and short on time I hit the dreadmill for a few miles. Played with 100mi & 8-hour pacing with proper climb %. Interesting.

It's way too hot in there.

Got clearance from the registrar to register for the Eastern States 100!! Did. Booked a yurt -- the last one in the park -- if you want to share, let me know. I'm excited, nervous, etc.

Thinking about crew, etc.
