ahr:131 max:146 shoes: Inov-8 Trailroc 245 (1st pair)

C-c-c-cold rain. Trying a super-low cadence. Felt pretty strongly sugar-bonked for first couple of miles (Waffle Saturday wearing off), then snapped out of it and felt pretty good, but got progressively colder throughout the remainder of the run. Wrists and fingers resist the typing of this entry.

Chilly but beautiful vitamin D-generating day ... felt sluggish, but good to get out for a few.

Disney on Ice: Frozen with Juliet, June and Robin today at the Wells Fargo Center. Pretty cool! Sure beat the Ice Capades of my youth. Pyrotechnics were pretty good, and the snow making was magical (yes, 'magical').

Back home, I realized I needed to go for a run or feel like a total physical failure after: munchkins for breakfast, hot dog and pizza (one of those really big slices) at the show, then a big bowl of pretzels and cheddar at home.

So a pretty hard long lap up the Crum. Chilly, so I overdressed, then went harder than I'd planned, saw lots of folks out enjoying the cool but crisp, clear and quiet afternoon.

Finally wheeled the N end of the Crum Long Lap. 1.804 miles (9525 feet), so the Crum Long Lap is officially 7.444 miles. Sweet! 0.184 miles longer than my lowball guestimate.
