Rainy Saturday keep-em-warm. Left my watch at work, so broke out the old Timex Ironman Triathlon Flix. I love the velcro band, so cozy.

Didn't have time to run at lunch, but felt the urge, so headed out with the Fenix after dark. Hoped for some moonlight, but it wasn't up enough to be in Crum Woods yet, so stuck with the headlamp. I need a diffuser for that thing. Ordered. $6 shipped for free from China. Sorry carbon footprint!

Fun to get out in the dark. Difficult running.

Running tempo 33:32 intensity: (8:59 @1) + (1:58 @2) + (5:52 @3) + (15:06 @4) + (1:37 @5) 4.1 mi (8:11 / mi) +203ft 7:49 / mi

A little almost-tempo to get the blood flowing, and push it a bit while still fatigued from Mega. Needed to remind myself that I don't have to do 10 minute miles. Good stuff! What a beautiful day.

Recovery. Felt about as expected, and it was a good idea. Biking the kids to (done) and from (soon) school feels (like it's doing) good, too. I'm glad I took the day off! It's gorgeous out there.
