Generally unsatisfactory US Team Fall 2013 3km Time Trial effort ... wrong shirt, wrong day (ridiculously humid!), wrong mental state ... BUT that's all part of the fun of "the track", and I'm glad I got out and did this. I'm already thinking about the next try, considering this one a learning experience, etc. Good to find the 3km marks on the track.

I missed the lap button on lap 5 for a few seconds, so split the diff with lap 6 (-3/+3).

Mostly annoyed by the > 12min by 1 second! But I promised myself I wouldn't obsessively look at each lap split (more mental training), and focus on smooth and steady, which was very, very hard ... my mind was the biggest obstacle. Definitely wussed out laps 5-7. I know I can do a better, as I can definitely do under 6 for a mile, and that doesn't line up with the vdot for this run.

Haven't run that hard and long on the track since high school. I remember why. ;)

Forgot to mention that my New Shoes were awesome!! I can't wait to try them at unencumbered full speed.
