Another HR monitor fail! I need some electrode cream. It's becoming an issue!

Gorgeous day. Felt sluggish. Wasn't very, but felt so. Weird. Hope to perk up soon!

Good times had by all!!

Planned on 2 long laps @Z1, but realized pretty much right away that my hips thought it was a bad idea. So did 1 long lap @Z1/Z2 instead. Cool and breezy, a lovely day. Wish the hips were recovered from last weekend, as I wanted to go longer!

Left the HR strap at work.

Switched to "Smart" recording, didn't seem to affect the track, but maybe the climb? 200m is probably more reasonable for this loop anyway. Maybe?

Need an altimeter GPS (like the eTrex I gave to Justin) to get the altitude gain on my loops, and need to wheel this one.

Note

Huh, that was pretty fast for a Z1 apparently. Hah! Amazing what the distance does to your perception, and heart/lung strength.

For crying out loud, I'm getting really sick of the HR monitor failure. It was raining and still failed for a long time.

Raining and cool, first day this post-summer that I got cold wrists while running! :)

Definitely still not 100% from the race, but a slow 5 felt really nice. HR Avg should be about 134, max 145.

To da Zoo! Beautiful day. Legs leaden, quads worst. Good recovery/verify functionality run. All good, nothing feels damaged other than possibly right pointer toenail (placed on "Falloff Watch").

My watch didn't charge up, or accidentally turned on, or something, so it ran out of juice after about a mile. I wished to as well, but persevered. Re-charging now with fingers crossed. Or I'll have to buy a new Garmin FR 220. ;)

Preorderable on Amazon, in case you're looking for a present for me.
