OMG the humidity! Woods a bit wet, but creek not to bad. Great to see you out there, hughmac3! HR way too high, lost my hear / humidity adjustment again.

Tight in the usual places of my lower left leg, otherwise tired quads & thighs, but otherwise feel good.

Running race (Skye Trail Ultra) 10:39:11 [1] 30.14 mi (21:12 / mi) +7933ft 16:59 / mi
shoes: Topo MT-2 (10) Blue #2

Dropped at 1st aid stn: undertrained, lack of sleep / jet lag, a number of logistical issues, brutal terrain, weather, PF flare which really hit me on tarmac. Glad I made that choice, although is smarts, of course. Lots more in a write up.

Didn’t feel like it, went anyway. Podcast Science of Ultra was great! Listened to a few over the past few days, and this one is really good ... it flies in the face of my normal HTFU attitude. It was (I believe) in response to this article in irunfar.com, which really is straight HTFU.

Ankle a tiny bit achy, but I'm going to uncheck 'Injured?'. Huzzah.

Cool and cloudy. Nice to get out. Left instep still sore from ankle roll, but not to the running-is-counterproductive level.
