Kept to my plan for the first 20, doing the first five slowly, second five quickly, and remainder at decent (8:30) pace. But the final six were brutal with tired legs and strong headwinds (20 mph with heavy gusts at time). Walked a fair bit and ended 2 minutes slower than goal 3:45. Even with the tired legs and walking, I think I would have hit the target if it weren't for the wind. Still for the next one I need to put in more miles and do more strength training. Overall, a success.
