Running warm up/down 10:00 [3] 2.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Asics Trabuco
Orienteering race 17:12 [5] *** 2.8 km (6:09 / km)
spiked:17/19c shoes: Asics Trabuco
TAKAS 2009, 3rd day. H21S class. Nida.
For the third day in a row went too fast from the start and again paid the price - found myself in the wrong side of the building, had to run around it, 35'' wasted. Heavy legs up the Urbo hill. But later on felt very good, my splits in the middle of the race are very impressive. Only one more mistake to 9th CP - 15''.
The goal was top-10, missed that by couple places because of lack of concentration from the start...
Climbed another 4 places in overall order.

shoes: VJ Integrator '08
Orienteering race 56:32 [4] **** 7.4 km (7:38 / km)
spiked:16/20c shoes: VJ Integrator '08
TAKAS 2009, 2nd day. H21S class. Nida.
Started the same way as yesterday, looked like the race is going to be another disaster. After 4 CPs already had 4 mins of errors in 3 CPs. Moreover, felt little tired and run slower.
Fortunately later on made just 2 small garbage mistakes, worth less than 1', and also increased the pace towards the end as felt better than starting.
Climbed 11 places in overall order as a result.

Orienteering race 39:12 [4] **** 5.5 km (7:08 / km)
spiked:11/16c shoes: VJ Integrator '08
TAKAS 2009, 1st day. H21S class. Pervalka.
Started well too fast, and flied into micro relief without any idea where I was. 3 mins lost on 1st CP, then another 1' to 4th, and there was caught by Liuba who started 4 mins behind.
3 more errors on 5th, 7th and 13th CP, 8 minutes in total - just could not read all these micro objects.
At least everything is still ok with physical shape and some splits are satisfying.

12th OS Antradieniai race in Salote.
Awful weather. Decided to run only because Takas is just few days away and didn't want to come there after 1 week rest.
Some garbage mistakes, 2 bigger, but the biggest misfortune again caused by organizers. Every time starting in OS Antradieniai I already smell that at least one CP won't be in the forest. Today searched for such CP being absolutely sure that I was in the right place but you may never know if totally washed-out wet rag is not put somewhere in the bush and you won't be disqualified for not finding it.
