- Places for improvements on web services.
- Only working web service is GPS tracking.
- Sportground.fi sucks. I cannot login to their services with my laptop with Internet Explorer and their advice is to install Crome.
- When finally in with Chrome and paying 10 euros fee the service stops in 5-10 min period and I need to relogin to see again. Bugger. (Katseluaika päättynyt).
- FIN men used their bullets in Qual races. Hope I'm wrong.

Orienteering 1:16:45 [2] ***** 8.34 km (9:12 / km)
spiked:17/19c shoes: Inov-8 X-Talon 212

Note to myself. No X-Talons in forest trainings. Grip was not a problem, but they were twisting and turning all the way. Fell down and hit my knee after third control. It started to hurt more and more towards to end. Running was not fun. Long leg was very nice. I liked it a lot. Catastrophic mistake at ten. Could not follow my plan (swamp right not left) and then had difficulties change the plan and bit of stopped navigating and just made assumptions. Relocation needed and then quite ok. Another mistake at fifteen. There I had troubles with the map.I would not have put control point in to that place. Otherwise some good legs, but mostly just almost. Slowly, but still troubles. This was one for the round and last one is usually too much and it was. Now rest. Even it feels difficult. Maybe the knee injury keeps me away from training.

Hapardi's Pullaute training in Ola. This detailed map I can read while running. I was thinking that once we are running with opads in forest there should be an option to set the level of detail on fly during the race. Reduce or increase level of detail, when needed or zoom in and out, when needed. Training itself went well. Mistake at eight. I first misread the open and semiopen areas. Before the mistake had already travelled a while "using just left hand". So I was not fully sure about my position. GPS track on the second is strange. I went straight to cliff and saw a streamer on it. I don't remember making such a turn either, but I did not start to fix GPS track since it is elsewhere automatically going as should be. So maybe I did or did not visit second. Mystery for a lifetime...

6th day of my personal O week. I'm starting to think that this kind of things is just for idiots, but ont the other hand this has been so much fun. I leave the judgement to you. Today I did a training at Tuohijärvi map and statement is that orienteering trainings and events should be only organised in terrain like this. It is simply just so much more motivating to run and nav on these kind of lovely terrains for example compared to yesterday. I did triangles first (bogs, cliffs and stones) and then ran the souther course in wrong order that I had originally designed. Great day. Sunny and hot day. Excellent. Thanks to Hämis for several proposals (not just the ones on comment)!

Fifth day on Chris O' Week (Poor man's O Ringen / Kainuu O week). Today I'm heading to west. How far is not decided yet. Any proposals for tomorrow? Should not be too far away due to other activities? Thanks to Hapardi I have training for Saturday.

Hike-Walk-NW 1:00:00 [0] 3.23 km (18:35 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Roclite 243 (2013)

Visited Linnaistensuo with kids. Not too exciting, but worth for one visit. Nice day, nice weather. Excellent. Never seen a sign in Finland before, that training is not allowed. Protected area...bog. Route.

Orienteering 1:05:00 [3] **** 7.82 km (8:18 / km)

KKV's training at Vihattu. Few nice areas, but too big part was basically ultimate scheisse. And map was outdated. Feel free to run from eleven to finish. I would have made a bit differend course. Physically better than yesterday. Cruising speed was no problem. Competing against Tömäys. He started minute or two after me and I knew he will catch me and he did it at cp 4. A few controls more or less together. On the way to eigth different route choises and Tömäys ran away. I did not see him until I had visited eleven. I saw that he was at Kebab kiosk and I was more than happy to point him directions. After all clear win for me. Smaller mistakes here and there, but overall I'm satisfied especially succeeding the tricky part well. Also to eight I was going great, but made unnecessary zig zag before the control.

Keskilaakso-Rastit, Junkkarinvuori, Anjala. Yeah, I drove to Anjala. + one hour on one direction. Doable more often at least during holidays. I was tired as one just could imagine. Hills in the beginning were challenging physically. Did not really make mistakes, but I'm not happy of the level of concentration. I was going so slowly that I would have time enough to memorise the whole map. Not the best course ever, but quite ok. Small area limits options. Emits were mostly lying on the ground. Big minus. What's up tomorrow?

Orienteering 1:07:57 [3] ***** 8.78 km (7:45 / km)

Valtsu rastit at Money Forest. Difficult course being a leisure O event. More than perfect for me, but I do not know about the most of the folk. Plan was to be more focusED on navigating than yesterday and managed to do it quite well. I took the time to stay on the map with one exception. I had not enough fuel for the complete course. I started to feel tired on the way to 8. More than happy to take the very safe choise to last one. What's up tomorrow?

Orienteering 40:50 [3] **** 4.9 km (8:20 / km)
spiked:9/10c shoes: Icebug Spirit 2 OLX

Low tempo jogging and Oing at Orimattilan Iltarastit as warm up for football. Huge mistake at second. Started to search control point way too early. Did not take enough time for map reading in general today. I was a bit too busy all the time. Terrain was not that nice as by looking a map would think, but nice anyway. Well organised event.
