Finnish extra long distance champs in Somero.Class H35. Scale 1:15000. Dist. 18.8 km. I ran 26 km. El Clasico. I did not punch on drinking control so I got DSQ as a reward from this trip. Right from the start running did not feel so nice. So I knew right away that it will be just surviving, not really competing. I started quite okay. Tempo was slow and on longer legs I used roads as much as possible. There was two detailed areas on the map and I really had difficulties to read the map on those areas and made some solid mistakes on almost each control on these detailed areas. Not so nice. Otherwise I had not difficulties to find controls. After midpoint running came more and more difficult and I was more tired. This also lead to a situation that on the control 18 I just saw the drinks on the table and did not even notice emit units. Last km of the race was good which gives me a good feeling.

Qualification for Sprint Final. Solid race. Very easy course. And yes I made it to the final.

Finish Sprint champs. Class H35. Much more difficult than the Qualification race. I made safe run on the forest and it went quite okay. When returning back to the streets I could not locate one crossing. Map and the reality did not match as I was expecting. After short discussion with myself I decided to make a longer choice and mentally I gave up at the same point. This was control 10. Except that it was ok race for me.
