Night cup - yökuppi in Hämeenkoski organised by Migulis. I try to put this on positive way. Terrain, course and the map were quite challenging. Map maker has saved some green color while making the map. This episode takes second place in season ranking. Tuxi is still leading. I started quite well. Choosed an easy way to first control point and got confident feeling. I met Tomi L in the first cp and ran mostly with him the rest of course. Some different route choises, but at each control we were at the same time. Until the first control of second butterfly loop I succeeded pretty well. Then I lost the count on paths. I went to wrong direction, met the power line, made correction, again did not know on what trail I was running and on the top of all started to run 180 degrees to wrong direction. We had a short meeting and started to run to correct direction. Enduro racers has made new trails to forest which were not on the map. The ones that are on the map were difficult to see. Finally found the cp. Just before the cp we met Voimis and he joined the group and the result can be seen later. 11, 12, 13 and 14 were ok, but 15 was bad and 16 was extra bad. 15 was difficult control in thick bush so that easy to miss, but 16 supposed to be easy one. Even I was looking my compass all the time I manage to run too much right among three other athletes. Still in a strange way I liked this. Resultato and Split times and some Photos
