Yökuppi - Night cup race. Map Tihaja. Course length 5.2 km. I forgot o shoes home and ran with running shoes. Shoes were actually quite ok. Big mistake at second control. Slow running and not too concentrated on navigating. Results, Splits and routes. Now I'll rest for a while.

Helsinki City Marathon. 18 celsius and drizzle. Nice weather for running. My second marathon ever. I felt pretty good at the start, quite opposite to last year. Steady running and all worked well. km 36-39 were most diffucult ones, but not any major problem. I was aiming for 3.33.33 and did it, so next time, if there ever will be, I think I'll set my goal to 3.15.00.

Training summaries from July and beginnig of August year
2008 and from year 2007. Almoust 100 km less running this year, but in hours I've done more. Before July the story is totally different also from running point of view. In generally this year I've been training much more than last year. My log starts from July 2007, so can't check what I was doing before.

Company league race in Haukijärvi. Nice small terrain and map is ok too. 4.3 km butterfly course. Nice course. Tried to concentrate to navigating, but I lost the idea couple of time. Results and splits will be here.

Pajulahti Suunnistus. I felt like an oversized vehicle with a too small diesel powered engine. Not too happy with the result. Except one an extra ordinary mistake quite reasonable navigating partly enjoying company of an one young H21 class fellow. Far behind from the top.
