Street O training with sprint map. 6.0 km. What snow storm today. Winter has landed at this time of year. Difficult to run when there was so much new snow. Sadistic course setter didn't help. It was just up and down. Maybe one wrong route choise, otherwise ok performance. Still I'm hoping some extra boost to my legs.

Nordic walking mainly on snow and partly on paths. Fantastic weather and fun training. Few cm powder on top of tough snow surface. Snow carried my weight quite well, so it was nice go on. In the middle ran up and down a hill and again in a sandpit. Fun glide or ski down and then run up again. I had rubber boots on. Didn't feel like training even it was quite tough. :)

Street (night) orienteering - korttelikuppi, Salpakangas, Course length 6.5 km (My dist. 8.7 km). Nice course. All credits to Sanni. Mass start. O shoes and asphalt is not for me. My calves(?) are burning. Can hardly walk. Even only half of this race was on streets and other half was on forest on small paths. Orienteering was ok, but running was lazy. By hockey terms I can run some exchanges, but not whole game.

"Test run" Orimattila. Not fully recovered from yesterday's O session, but not too bad feeling either. Followed Late up to first hill and then had give up from his pace. Track was ok. 1 cm wet snow, but not slippery. Temperature 0 C.

Rinkball game between Andritz - M-Real Kirkniemi. We played in kisakallio, Lohja. Tight game. We lost 10 - 9. My points 3 + 0. Like in all sporrting events, it's no matter whether you win or lose, it's how drunk you get. (Homer J Simpson)...

Test run Tapanila. - 5 celsius. Snowy course, but quite good to run. Not too slippery.

2. 10:49 avg 190 / max 193 (4:15/km)

First lap was easy and I thought that second was faster. Anyway best time so far for this season. Good.
