Junk miles - an hour for nothing - Sauna lenkki. I used windows phone to record the session (Nokia 650), but managed to exit the application without saving the session. He, he. Now know how to "save" it or what button not to push.

It is snowing. Yes. I ran a distance with Jusbet and Bertta. They catch me close to Heinsuo. We ran together to Työtjärvi. Nice.

Rinkball game against Tytöt U 16. They were no girls like one could imagine by the name. We did loose 10 - 5. I played as left wing. Stats 1+1. Wohoo :). Excellent tempo on the game.

Monday run with Jukka Kaunetsalo. For a moment I was standing at the Tampere highway waiting for a ride to Sport Center to arrive. It didn't show up so I thought that it was either gone already or then the ride will never come. The latter was the case today. I ran back home to leave extra clothes and then started to run. At Messilä I accidently (like our Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade likes to express) bumped into Jukka K. He had been at Sport Center seeing no one there. Then we ran together via Tiirismaa to Heinsuo. Nice that I had company in the end. Run would have shorter alone.

Pullaute Rogaining in Ola. Time limit two hours. Short planning before start. I was thinking to skip some controls, but soon I noticed that it makes no sense to skip too many. In the end I picked all, also the one I skipped in the beginning. Most of the course I ran more or less together with Nizkane. Nicer to run with company than just alone. Pretty sure that 106 is misplaced. Punched on the most left corner of my route. Really nice training although I would prefer that it is not possible to visit all controls. More challenging.

As an end for a sporty day a Rinkball game. 7-8 lost against SHW. Good tempo and good game. Referees could have whistled more often. Partly the game was more like ice hockey than Rinkball.

Note

Towards to new training season. Season's facts:

- 311 training hours in total
- Almost 1000 running km
- About 420 Orienteering km
- 689 control points visited

Almost the same figures as last year.

What I'm happy about is that running was on quite ok level through the season. I had only one really bad race physically which was Finnish Extra Long Champs. On the other hand I did not have a single race in which legs would have been "ultra light". Navigating was also good level through the season. I think I could be more aggressive what comes to Oing. Too often I play too safe for no reason. Next season's motto: "Be more aggressive".

What I did differently this season. I did not tape my ankles and did not use contact lenses after the spring season. I think using only icebug and Inov8 shoes helped on the first one. Contact lense helps me, when they are correctly positioned, but too often they are not in place and sometimes they are even breaking. This happened two times during the spring time and when it happens it is pure agony to finish the race/training. So overall it seems to be better to run without them.
