Run to start. Course check. VMP -> B Course. Only good thing was that there was Sahti served at control seven. Tasty one it was. For a moment I was thinking to have second and ... Finished the course and ran home. Too tired. Should have stayed home.

Finnish Night Orienteering Championship at Alastaro. Class H35. Mixed feelings about the race. On control points I did not do basically any mistakes. Once I was standing for a second or two on the other side of the stone before realising that I have to go around the stone. For night O brilliant. On several legs I had slight difficulties to decide that which one of the route choises would be less harmfull for me. I think I did not get the best one too often. Got stuck in green, bushes and in long hay way too often. I think no-one could avoid that, but I get a feeling loosing lot of time compared to good undergrowth. Also on some of the legs I drifted from optimal route. All in all navigating was great. One of the best I've ever done at night. And I saw only one class mate once during the whole race. Physically I was soft. Softer than expected.

Company Night O Champs at LaTa's event. Quite easy course. Luckily easy one since I did not have similar trust on me as yesterday. Took it safe and easy and managed to run the course without mistakes.

Yökuppi race 6 in Linnavuori. One of the best night o runs I've ever done. All worked fine. Only the last long leg was not so smooth as it could have been.

Not a good a race. Physically not the best day. Three mistakes are simply too much. Two on my own and one when I decided to relax and follow Denis at eight. Though without the mistakes result would not have been that great :). Similar run to yesterday's second sprint. Could not keep things under control all the way. Just stopped to do right things. Despite this negative writing it was a great day and it was fun to compete.

Part one of double sprint. I ran with good tempo, but not max. Good navigating. Only small hesitations and on cp 12 I started to run wrong direction until noticed a better route choise and still did not get the best one.

Second race. Plan was to run faster and I had good legs. I could not keep navigating under control. Two big mistakes and one bad routechoise and lot of stops during the race. First three control points were ok and from 15 to finish was good. Sprint races are great. Peukku.

Running and orienteering in sunny city of München. First ever orienteering (kind of) in Germany. This lovely mapped area was just couple of kilometers away from the hotel. I ran to the map and ran a course on it. Then I ran along the river a bit more. Awesome. Part of the route tracked with Sports Tracker.



By the second control




Local club is http://www.ol-gruenwald.de/. They have a service for travellers (Though I did not get any reply or then it just did not work). This idea could be copied to other clubs too.

HU training at Haukijärvi. Nice short course. Legs sore from yesterday. I took it easy. Navigating was good. Basically not mistakes. At some points a bit late and some hesitations. GPS turned off again. The new one is not so good one. Bluetooth troubles and then this turn off thing.

Herrala Hölkkä. Two targets. Be infront of Jusbet and Turskis at the point were 10 km route differs from 16.5 km route and do my PB. Mission accomplished on both of my targets. But I started too fast. Had to troubles from 4 to 7 kilometres. Then it went again quite okay until to 14 km point, but last 2.5 km were very difficult. I thought I could easily run under 1 hour 10 min so I'm not super happy. And GPS device turned off so all splits, the intresting ones, are not available.

eGames second day. Middle distance. I got the extra gear for running as I was expecting/hoping so running was much better than yesterday. Navigating was not that solid as yesterday. A lot of small mistakes and several stop and go penalties. Still I should not complain too much. I was second also today and won overall. Jippii.
