Navdash race 31:53 [4]
(injured)

thought I was doing quite well till I ran into a goal post trying to read the map. my hand is fairly sore now just as it was recovering. then I realised I was running past control 6 but had never been there. I then realised i had been running to the wrong controls since the first control. I just followed the line to the next circle without checking the number, control 11 was between 1 and 2. So I went back to 2 and continued on. apart drom that error wasn't to bad. lost 13mins on the one control.

cycling (road) 1:24:00 [3] 38.0 km (2:13 / km)
shoes: trek 1000

ride home from navdash thought I'd have a tailwind but it was more across.

paddling 1:30:00 [3]

did some accidental resistant training today. started a little slow felt hard paddling , I put it down to not having paddled in the ocean for a while and some reasonable sized waves. Felt like I was paddling uphill. It got harder the further I went. till I realised the boat was quit low in the water. I have no bung in the very front plughole and it was spending a fair bit of time under water so I figured it was filling up there. headed for shore.
when i beached I tried to swing the boat around to drain it out.
And couldn't move it. It was over half full!
the rear hatch cover was missing.
and the flag was still attached.
I was paddling a sinking endorphin draggin a flag.
looks like I have fixed the numb leg problem.
but the padding I glued in is wearing holes in my lower back :(

ride through neerabup. can't believe how close to the other end I was when I decided to take the crap track last time. did a little detour to do a lap of light horse trail as its a narrower trail. Road back on the bitumen.
