6 Days of Tirol, Day 3. Deutschnofen-Obernockenberg. Bad start, loosing 5 minutes already to the 1st control. Then ok until control # 11. Now i believed to have skipped p10. Ran back to control #10 and again to control #11. At the readout-station i saw that i was twice at the control #10. Made the leg #10 to #11 three times!! :-(((

6 Days of Tirol, Day 2. Karerwald. Map 1:7:500 Less good race than the day before. Loosing a lot of time in the second part of the course. And again and again the back problems... 60th place of 80 :-((

6 Days of Tirol, Day 1. Karersee-Labyrinth. Moderate start to this 6-days event. No major errors up to control #7. Then a larger search action in the post area at control #8. Loosing about 5 minutes. Rest ok, but was too slowly downwards. Had to fight all days with lower back problems!! 49th place of 78

Village-sprint with map Bubendorf. Tried once more new one-day contact lenses. Test failed. Could not see the small ways, stairs and fences on the map. Loosing too much time with reading the map. :-(((

Near Lamoura (France) 3. National event with map Le Sauget. Very difficult terrain and very difficult map interpretation.Found only a few posts at first attempt. 1st big mistake to control #2 the longest leg. Lost map contact near the control area. Loosing about 6-7 minutes. 2nd big error to control #5. Lost the direction and met my later control #9! Time lost about 7 minutes. Last big mistake to control #10. Once more, i lost the contact with the map. Needed the help of others to find my position.Time lost, about 15 minutes!! This terrain was too difficult for me. :-((
