Raigmore to home. First time doing this. Quite hilly in places. A really nice route on quite roads on the whole. Only pain is the bit of cycle path which is as expected - crap! Not ideal for a road bike but didn't fancy the A9....
Pretty tired by the end but OK

Day off so long ride with a crowd from A&E plus a few paramedics. Started just north of Ullapool and did a long loop taking in Inchnadamph, over hill towards Kylescue, cray coastal road through Drumbeg then on to lochinver. Quick pie stop then home past Stac Pollaidh. Quite a day! Some fit riders with serious several £K full carbon aero bikes and smashing it along for plenty of segments. I was struggling at times to keep up on the flat but managed to drop everyone on the biggest climb. Drama of the day came when 2 guys had a nasty high speed crash. Cue one broken wrist and one broken bike. Could have been worse but bad enough.
So....a bit of a dampner on an otherwise great right. shattered by the end
