LTU champs, relay, 3rd leg in H35 team (unrivalled), as was left without a place in elite teams. Starting 2nd, just right before nerimka and Cambas - too heavy burden for me. 1st - no problems, after 100m saw Cambas passing me by quite quickly, taking him into sight, 2nd was the same. In the middle to the 3rd loosing him out of sight. Near CP messed up in bushes - 10'. 4th, 5th - OK. In the middle to 6th hearing someone behind - nerimka caught me. Passing marsh, running a bit some trail - but not the one which I thought I was running, stopping for relocation, but still don't understand the area. Moving forward, saw a CP, taking it, checking control number - damn, not mine. But quickly understood where it stood, so quickly running to mine. Some 1'30'' mistake. Suprisingly nerimka also made a mistake and has just taken it too. To 7th trying not to loose nerimka out of sight. While running near 2nd cut area on the left surprising saw Cambas running - he's back. Putting 4th gear trying not to loose him, when he overtakes near 7th and punches control after nerimka. 8th - guys are pushing and I'm just trying to keep the pace. Near 9th catching them by few meters due nerimka's show (which didn't see). To 10th they already too fast for me and I'm quickly loosing them, but they still on my sight. Looking at the map some 100m before CP, as they are splitting, loosing them out of sight, running near double CP, quickly understanding where it is, moving a bit forward on the hill, but hesitating to go in the bushes where required pit was, then seeing nerimka standing lost, looking at the map. Ran 10 meters back and found CP - some 20'' mistake. Thought that nerimka will see me after climbing out of it, but when did climbing nerimka is already gone and I don't see him. 11th - OK, running to 12th steadily and in CP area right before my nose Cambas is taking some CP. Quickly rolling my map, incidentally see next CP number (79), checking the number of control - 55, checking again on the map - 55, ok, mine, taking it. 13th and then finish right after Cambas and nerimka is not back yet, yay!

I count it as a very good race, just 2' of mistakes and the best relay run in few years' time - I don't do relays well, maybe people distracting me too much. Forest also was much nicer than on Saturday. Perfect weekend.

LTU champs, middle in Šiluvos forest, H21E, 6.3km. Quite hot weather, so drank a lot of water before the start. Lucky with start list - being 4th runner before strongest runners' pool. Started easily, 1st CP - 40'' mistake - quickly relocated from nearby hill. 2nd - quite unsure with poor direction and slowly - 1' mistake. 3rd - somehow. After leaving 3rd was surprised to see striokas (2' behind) taking it just right after me - I thought he already overtook me before. 4th - some (20''?) hesitation on the road and striokas cought me right before 4th. Then rolled the map and tried to keep his pace, but suprisingly even could take a look at map few times. He crosses big marsh, I take a risk and run around - still don't loose him. From 5th looked at the map, he runs too right for me, luckily he soon understands that and we got into required trail. Few seconds after Beliūnas (8' behind) pass along me like standing while running to the hill, striokas hooks him and I'm left alone with my pace. Right after 8th was caught by Daukšys (6' behind) and Giega (10'). After 9th they took a turn right and then I saw a possible route through right (which accidentally was slower then through left). Right after 10th someone with Igtisa's outfit passes me, I thought he was Gerasimov, as he went right direction, so next three CPs taking after him, as could keep the pace. Somehow he didn't like 13th CP, even I checked the number and it was mine, told him so, but he just looked at my map to check the location and ran somewhere else. Just at home looking at intermediates understood, that H18 class' course from 10th to 12th was the same, and the runner was Martynas Tirlikas. While hitting path before 14th saw Daukšys again, comming from the left. We are making mistake near CP in the green, I just quickly relocating while he runs somewhere else. I shout for him near CP but he don't hear. 1' mistake. Near 15th was caught by Simonas, to 16th running while looking at his quickly disappearing back. In the middle to 17th didn't understand that hit required hill (thought that the one before CP), so checked double CP with some H18 runner and Aistė Traubienė told that she runs to required CP. Some 1' mistake. Near 18th was caught by Daukšys again, 20'' for hesitation near CP. 4'20'' mistakes in total - not so bad, though didn't like the forest - it was too green for me.

Two loops in Lazdynai forest, easily. It was good that it was only some 22C - quite ok for running.

O-Tuesday in Turniškės, B course, 4km. Wet and green. 4th - 15'' (didn't want to look at the map to get proper direction), 6th - 45'' - expected to make a mistake here, so went slowly, but still didn't find it properly. 9th - 1'30'' - went too left from the bottom, so didn't hit the hollow near CP, luckily found the CP while messing around. 10th - 30'' - quite indirectly, 12th - 50'' - still didn't want to look at the map for a better direction. 3'50'' of mistakes in total.
