Home - VP - 1 loop in VP - home. Felt pain in the chest from the beginning, later after crossing Laisvės pr., walked for a minute, because pain was quite strong. Later pain was moderate. It was much easier to run on asphalt than on paths. Very nice summer in VP.

Kayaking in river Verknė with co-workers and their friends. Arms very tired after paddling. Met Zilvinas from Fortuna in the same camp, who was kayaking with his friends.

Participated in O-Thursday event first time this season. Forgot HRM belt at home, so ran without it. I thought that Burbishkes was an ugly forest, but I was wrong. 20'' mistake on 1st CP and 40'' mistake on 2nd, while leaving the first - the first marsh was challenging, because didn't know anything about its depth, so tried to run around it, but failed to find safe passing, so crossed it directly. Later everything was fine, was messing around with egidijus and sout, so it wasn't boring. Liked only two loops of butterflies. At the end of the course my shoes almost torn apart because of so many marshes - sometimes felt like a swimmer.
So, rehashing "The Chronicles of Riddick" - "I should have taken the rest", but in overall should not complain :)

Investigating corners of Pilaite - 1 shortest loop around Salote lake (this time vice versa Sunday's route), then loop around Giluzis lake, and half loop around Pilaite. Finally felt stronger than during last few weeks. Legs pleasantly fresh after yesterday, but it wasn't very easy to run.

O-Tuesday in Ližiškės. Planned just to take the cource easily, but it was better. 45'' garbage mistakes on 3 CPs and one huge 1' mistake on 13th CP - running down the slope somehow didn't follow the map properly. Quite good race.
It was very good rest for the head. Quite low HR.

Short distance in Kaunas botanical garden. Expected disaster, but it wasn't. The beginning was tough, because could not "get into map" easily - 25'' of mistakes until 6th CP. Later 15'' to 14th CP, because couldn't understand the right route choice. Overall: quite good race, 40'' of mistakes, but was slow, as expected.

Becomming some kind of 'deseases bag'. On Monday throat was finally well, but on Monday evening felt very strong pain in the belly, had half-sleepless night and even some temperature starting 5am. As was very weak in the morning, decided to skip O-Tuesday event. Now will rest few days, and I guess on Saturday's short race it will be a disaster.

Shit happens.

Testing new route around Pilaitė as adviced by Zyza. Not very runner-friendly teritory - several comprehensive stops near traffic lights or because of free dogs, one bitch tried to trip up. Overall quite good training - finished without any bites and intact, no collateral damage. Should try another time, didn't want to run to Lazdynai forest because of dusk.

O-Tuesday in Karoliniškių šlaitas. Not so tough course as could be expected, but it wasn't easy also. After first third of the course to the hills started to climb instead of running. 2' mistakes on 4 CPs, mostly because of lack of attention - 30'' to 2nd, 15'' to 6th, 1' to 8th (became tired and took wrong route choice), 15'' to 11th - lack of map reading. Quite good race should I say, but running speed was quite poor.

Fortuna Cup in Senasalis, long distance, V21A course. Quite good race, about 6' of mistakes on 5 CPs (1,5' on 1st CP as decided to take safe route), the largest one - 3' on 13th (got confused by Marius Kantautas).
