JEC long. Had a clean start with one little route choice mistake so was very surprised to see Lucas behind me after 6 controls. He caught me at number 8 when I had a little miss and then I stayed with him until the butterfly. Fairly clean through the wings of the butterfly and I came out about 40seconds behind him. Then spent the rest of the course trying to catch him and failing, I did have it down to about 15 seconds but he got away again in the green. Hamstring a bit sore throughout and then when I decided to sprint for the line it hurt again.

Long warm up and short cool down, hamstring sore.

Orienteering 35:00 [3]

Relay, went off and didn't get into the map at the start and managed to hit every other gaffle but mine which left me 4 mins behind after 3 legs. Then started to actually orienteer and had a good race from then on not losing any more big chunks of time but the damage was already done. 2.30 behind leader on leg.

JEC sprint. Focused on the Orienteering for the first section as didn't know what hamstring would be like but then managed to pick up some speed across the fields and keep it through the last bit. Good race but not hard navigation.

10 mins to sport hallam, 15 mins jogging with gg, laura, aiden and his dad, 10 minutes intervals (60s x 2, 30s x 4, 15s x 4) off 60s, then 5 mins run back to clubnight. Rest is warm up in clubnight and run home.
