Warm up

Orienteering race 50:00 [3]

Wombwell woods, nice course, hared off at the start and missed number 1 by about a minute. Then hit two fine, it was easy. Had a couple of hesitations on 3 4 and 5 then missed 6 by 2 and a half minutes. Was just below it but didn't know where I had come out of the green. After that was fine, pushing a little bit to catch alex and then passed him and got ahead when he missed. Was a nice little area. Not tricky but probably quite relevant for bucs at least.

Bleaklow, not feeling this, legs had no strength left. Could have done with a steady running 90 not a trudging sliding falling 90 but oh well. GG cut a section off with me as I was struggling with the snow.

Running to lecture then to crookes then to heroes then home.

Orienteering 20:00 [3]

Orienteering in crookes park and the other bits. Was going well untill it started getting too dark to read the map. Hit a massive sugar low whilst waiting for everyone at goodwin.

Running hills 40:00 [4]

ShUOC hills up Heroes. Tough session and could feel yesterdays gym in me. Bommy T was going well at the front on all of them, I tried to keep it as steady as I could. Probably could have run a couple more at the pace I was going but it would have hurt alot so very pleased to leave it at 3.

First proper session after being ill... Felt good, feeling torn up now I'm writing this though.

Easy easy run with ralph. Felt good. Didnt put one bit of effort in.

So febuary was a crap month for training.. Exams then a decnet week and then 2 weeks of ill mean that its the least training I've done in a while. Silver lining is that I'm now feeling more mentally rested and very up for running. Poor performances at POM but not too far off Merl on a couple of them and he was going well, so not all bad news considering I was ill. Bring on march..
