SYO Burbage boulders event. Most fun orienteering I've done in ages. Really good idea to combine ultrasprint type orienteering into a long race and very well planned.

I did one very silly mistake and minced about in surprise view but the rest was ok bar 9 which I undershot and had a bit of hard time through the bracken.

My silly mistake: Punched 14, and for a split second thought I was at 13 so navigated 13-14 again getting very lost in the process, then relocated, found 14 again and carried on, without realising until the finish that I had done this. Lost 4 and a bit minutes just on this one.

Intervals (8 (2), 5 x 1 (1), 8 (2)) finishing with some accelerations. 35 mins.
Convoluted jog home. 20 mins.

Thought it would be interesting to log my food for a bit so starting with post training tonight:

8.30 Half a pint of milk, a pint of water and a big bowl of pasta bolognaise.
10.30 Hot chocolate at anwens.

Will be brutally honest, down to every last donut.
