Brown day 2 at GA Navigator Cup. Another decent run but not great. Lost a couple of minutes at #5 (again!) when I got suckered into checking a ditch/gully system before the one I wanted. There had been several unmapped ones that I crossed and I started to lose confidence. Don't know if my route to #4 was the best (around on some trails and along a stream bed); straight could definitely have been faster. A few other slight bobbles as my eyes were watering enough to make it tough to read the map so I thought two trails connected when they really didn't and I misread the trail/road stuff right near the end.

Jogged a good bit whenever I could. Stiff now but nothing really bad.

orienteering race 1:05:23 [3] 3.9 km (16:46 / km)

Brown course at GA Navigator Cup. I made several mistakes including a big one at #5 that AP for some reason doesn't recognize. I was on the wrong spur and when things looked a little fishy I figured it was likely I had done what I had in fact done but needed to be sure so recovered in a somewhat roundabout way. I had to have lost 4 or 5 minutes but I guess others screwed up that leg too so comparatively I looked fine. I jogged some and my knees didn't feel too bad and they're not too bad this evening either so that's good.

Had some issues with the map but all and all very happy I made the trip.
