Note

So the plan was to go to the QOC Fountainhead event as a tune up for the GAOC event which was why I was down in DC for the weekend. But I woke up this morning and I couldn't move my arm without a ton of pain. Not being sure what was wrong I decided to drive home and visit an urgent care center. They took x-rays and nothing is broken but my shoulder is all swollen.

So will get in to see a specialist as soon as I can. It is really hard trying to do everything with my left hand.

Happy New Year 2016 course at Fair Hill with Sandy Ahlswede. Karl, Tom and Clem did it on their own.

Not the best effort but at least the 2016 looks good! Not sure how HAPPY got so lame looking, although I did move the watch from my camelbak where I couldn't see it to my wrist in the middle of the P so perhaps that explains why it doesn't look like I went back to the same spot. I know I did since we hung a streamer there to make sure we went back to the exact spot.

Then we went brain dead after the H and kept taking the wrong trails to get to the start of NEW. (The course did started at the Y in HAPPY and went backwards, then did NEW YEAR and finished with 2016 backwards.) So NEW looks pretty messed up with some extra tracks in there.

A good time though and fun to be in the woods.

Weighed a little less but not quite down to 129 this morning.

Stairs. 7 min. warmup (single stairs walking), 17 min. double stairs, 3 min. running single stairs, 3 min. cool down (single stairs walking).

Was listening to a book on tape but hadn't charged my mp3 player since Monday's long hike and it died after about 10 minutes.

Yoga/Pilates 1:00:00 [3]

Yoga DVD with Sandy. Instead of just doing bridges, used the big ball to do back bends which felt good. My shoulders are still are a real issue. But, can feel my core getting stronger.

Still stuck at 130. Ate a lot last night, but not much today. Maybe tomorrow?
