More beach walking. The beach was almost deserted due to the weather - grey skies, windy, misty. Much more pleasant than yesterday when it was warm and sunny and crowded.
Walking fast in barefeet in the deep sand on the beach. Good calf workout! I think it's easy on my knees because the sand makes it seem like you're always walking uphill and that's always better than downhill.
A much less pathetic outing if not very long. Had to drive across the Wissahickon so stopped on my way home at one of the lots down by the creek and ran 2 on the drive at under 10 min pace. Breathing was labored but nothing hurt. (Yay!) Walked a half mile than ran another half (4:45) where I was actually picking up my knees and not just shuffling along. Time includes the walk plus the little bit to and from the car.
