orienteering race 1:31:06 [5]

Green Course - Team Trials
Another great course in super terrain. Another mix of some good legs and some really bad errors. But again, my knees felt fine in the woods and I was doing some running. What a great map.

orienteering race 1:22:41 [4]

Green Course - Team Trials. Had lots of fun. Super terrain from control #4 to #13. The good news is that I started running and my knees were fine and I felt great for a good long portion in the middle of the race. The bad news is that I had lots of small errors totalling about 10 minutes which is pretty bad. Need to work on getting focused and staying focused.

orienteering race 20:09 [3]

Sprint race - Brown/Green course. OK race. Didn't warm up since there were issues with epunch and I just didn't feel like it; my knees were pretty stiff until about the 4th control.

running 56:12 [3]

TNT - three on the drive with Sandy. Continued my resolve to walk the beginning part which always hurt (two bloacks of downhill on the road before you get to the trail network) and that seems to help. Ran a little faster - averaged 10:03 for the three on the drive.

Note

Enjoyed dinner. Good company; good conversation.

Icing at least once a day seems to be helping. I may try to cut back on the ibuprofen after this weekend.

Have really lost a lot of conditioning; could really feel it this past weekend. Not sure I have the motivation to do anything about it. We'll see.
