running 1:02:17 [3] 6.0 mi (10:23 / mi)

Decided to do six miles on Forbidden Drive and was pleased I managed to keep moving the whole time. The pace is a little misleading as the first five weren't too bad, but last mile was quite a bit slower than the others.

walking 33:00 [3]

walking/jogging down to Forbidden Drive and back home. I was totally beat on the way home and it was a tough crawl up the hill. Jogged the whole hill yesterday; today could barely walk it!

trail 1:07:00 [3]

A nice trail run on some of the steep and rocky trails in the Wissahickon. Felt pretty good although probably wasn't moving terribly fast. The up and downs are both hard work - the level sections felt so easy by comparison. Wore my O shoes which worked great on the packed snow in the shady parts and the mud and slush in the sunny parts.

running 1:02:00 [3]

Normal run down in the Wissahickon. The trails were pretty snow covered so getting down and back up was dicey. The main trail was icy and muddy in sections, okay in others. I, on the other hand, was mostly dragging - just felt slow and heavy and tired. Over 10:30 a mile. Not sure what's up.

running 52:00 [3]

3 miles down on Forbidden Drive at about 10:15 pace, plus the jog down and walk back. Felt really crummy; not sure if it's lingering effects from Texas, two days doing nothing or one too many beers last night (probably the last!).

Note

It's easy to rack up lots of time when I do a red course! Rest day today - more because I'm so busy catching up at work than because I'm sore. My knee held up remarkably well actually.
