Tried some "interval" training today. Used the big trail with half mile markers. It's a little more than half a mile though from the trail head to the first marker. Jogged the first two halves easy (5:50,5:00), pushed hard for the next (4:17), easy (5:15), hard (4:10), easy (5:29), hard (4:19), very easy with some walking at first (6:47). The hard halves were tough.
