The event went well; not a huge turn out but the people that came seemed to have a lot of fun.

Put out stakes for tomorrow's event at SCEE. Pleasantly surprised at how fast I got them out. I knew the park was going to be locking the gate as soon as all the kids got picked up from the afterschool program so I had an incentive not to dawdle.

No way this had more climb than what I did yesterday. I do not think yesterday's figure is correct.

Stairs w/ 10 mins in the middle of double ups. Have a ways to go to get back to where I was right before Kili. But my plan is to do these once a week and build up carrying a weighted pack.

Ha! Got an email around 3pm yesterday saying I didn't have to report for jury duty today after all!

And then got a text from Sandy seeing if I was interested in a hike this morning.

Perfect. Twice around the meadow loop since we both had the time. Light rain started just as we were finishing . Rather refreshing.

My sister is doing better - they've been able to remove the breathing tube and the drain in her brain so these are all positive steps. The road to recovery is going to be really long although the expectation is for a full recovery. Thanks, everyone, for all the well wishes. They were definitely appreciated.
